BCS FORTRAN SPECIALIST GROUP



        The next meeting of the Group will be held on Thursday

20th April 1989 from 10.30am to 4.30pm at the University of

Oxford's Computing Teaching Centre at the invitation of the

Treasurer, Miles Ellis.


        The morning meeting will be normal business including a

report from the recent X3J3 meeting in Stanford. Please

note the morning session will also include the AGM during

which the officers for the year 1989/90 will be elected.

The format of the afternoon session has yet to be decided.


        The map giving directions for the Computing Teaching

Centre is printed on the reverse of this notice. Other

instructions on attending this meeting are not available but

in case of difficulty ring Oxford (0865) 278800. [Not

        Please find enclosed the Minutes of the last meeting.

The full set of Appendices which accompany these Minutes

were sent with the last mailing.


        Please bring this notice to the attention of any col-

leagues likely to be interested: we particularly welcome

newcomers to the Group whether members of BCS or not.
